I think Associate Coach is generally a title handed out to show career progression - making it easier to take an assistant from another team. Believe we did it with Ward, who was an Assistant Coach with New Jersey, but became an Associate Coach with us.
Not sure why they don’t just go with “Sr. Assistant Coach”, but whatever.
Not sure if teams have employed more than one Associate at a time.
