I'm not saying it's an inevitability. I'm saying I don't know when was the last time a political party was probably worried about such a possibility. The margins were insanely thin this election which is why such a concept is even possible at this point.
What do you think is more likely, moderate UCPers crossing to sit as independents or join the NDP, or hard core TBA types leaving to sit in their own caucus to deny Smith an outright majority on key votes unless she accedes to their demands?

As much as I was glad to see the UCP seat count drop overnight if there's no chance of an NDP win then I'd rather the majority not shrink much further to avoid having our own "Freedom Caucus" situation here.
