This is not a rumour. There’s no evidence at all that anyone in the Columbus organization is considering trading the #3 pick for Lindholm, or anyone else. It’s two journalists speculating about trade scenarios, the same way people in this thread speculate.

Yeah, so crazy that this spun into not only Flames fans thinking they had a shot at the 3rd overall but trying to speculate it into our favour in trade scenarios. "Umm nuh uh, we ain't given up that guy for 3rd overall!!".
