A Calgary-based member of the Athletic staff asked a Columbus-based member of the Athletic staff if he thought the #3 pick might be available. The Columbus-based reporter responded that sure, he could imagine a scenario where the Blue Jackets moved the #3 for Lindholm.
This is not a rumour. There’s no evidence at all that anyone in the Columbus organization is considering trading the #3 pick for Lindholm, or anyone else. It’s two journalists speculating about trade scenarios, the same way people in this thread speculate.
