I say top 8 because you just don't know with prospects and with players bouncing back. You could say Seattle was a bottom 8 team that ended up in the playoffs and the 2nd round of the playoffs where they lost in game 7.

Arizona was critcized as going to far with the rebuild, how will they even have a roster they traded so much away. They managed to finish well out of the bottom 3 and at times looked like they have some decent players to move forward with.

Huberdeau is a star. Markstrom can't be worse. Kadri probably plays better and who knows out of your prospects who steps up and plays well. Every year there is rookies who surprise everyone and play better than they were projected to play. The Flames just rarely have these players because we never play any of our secondary prospects. If you aren't a Tkachuk we just send you to the AHL til your 23-24.

A good example of this is Wyatt Johnston. He's already played 82 games on a team that is in the confernce finals, had a big year and was drafted well behind Coronato. If I suggested that Coronato play in the NHL this year, I bet most would say "no way" "too soon" "he needs to play in the AHL for a year". If he is good enough, this is the year to play these guys. Conroy may not have a supertstar prospect but he has a bunch of kids that all could make the leap at once.
