I would be hoping he had the competitive fire burning to use this as a chance to re-find his game and prove he can be a leader while playing for his country. Weegar went and he just went through the same changes.
If Canada wanted him and the team (Flames) wanted him to go it's strange he chose not too imo

This we agree on. I sure hope we get a better version of him next season than the one we witnessed last year.
