I hope that they do in fact end the show after this season. You see it all the time in US TV shows where they try and squeeze the fruit too much and it makes bitter juice. Look at the office and the final seasons which just felt like caricatures just going through the motions. Just look at some of the side stories this year with Shandy and Jack in particular being frankly weak.

I really like the show and I wouldn't want it to turn into a Friends style show with the same recycled stories.

I think having a heartfelt show about the growth of all characters into the best versions of themselves wizard of oz style is a great outcome.
