Meh, it's one dramatic fan on a message board.
I'm sure it's easy to find 1 extreme opinion in any fanbase, Canadian or not.
It think taxes, weather, lack of privacy in public spaces have a lot more to do with players not wanting Canadian markets that random guy on internet.
