Honestly after hearing Portzline, who is no goofball media hack and these avs pundits ballpark the cost of acquisition, Lindy will fetch a massive haul for the Flames if that's how things end up. Will it be #3? Who knows, but from just two separate other teams reporters, it's not impossible.

I agree. Even more so if he's retained for his final year. A team like Colorado adding a top line 30+goal scoring defensive center for only 2.45m cap hit.
And to add to the Columbus offer, remember this is the same team that signed Gudbranson to a 4x4 so lets not think this is too wild. If a player wants to play for them and sign long term, that is also worth quite a bit.
