It seems to me from the presser that Nonis is the main contract guy and will be taking a big role in that area for the Flames.
The impressive remarks from Conroy as follows. The team seems to be in capable hands:
- Alluding they won't be plugging up the roster with signings leaving no room for youth to make the team. More youth is needed in the lineup.
- Can't go into next year with 7 UFAs from both a team and asset management standpoint.
- Wants players that want to be here and not just cashing cheques.
- Team needs to play with a great deal of freedom and tempo offensively.
