Tastes like tar with a bittersweet aftertaste. I don't mind and enjoy something with a medicinal, herbal or botanical aftertaste, but that's not what I get from black licorice.
I should have picked up some Thrills gum and tricked my kids and wife into eating both as a prank.  |
We spent two months in Australia last winter. Our friends bought us some black licorice that was one of the tastiest things I’ve ever had in my mouth. You may not have had the good stuff, or our tastes differ greatly. I should have brought back a box of that delicious stuff.
