Two months after requesting a trade, Chargers running back Austin Ekeler will remain in Los Angeles for the final season of his contract, with $1.75 million in incentives added to his deal, a source told ESPN's Adam Schefter.
Ekeler, who turned 28 earlier this month, was scheduled to earn $6.25 million in the fourth and final season of a $24.5 million extension.
He remains bound for free agency after the season.
