Jays are poor at RISP because they don't start runners. Yes it's better this year than last when they were absolutely static but still nt enough. Thus they hit into too many double plays. Like the other day against the Yankees when Springer and Bichette got on via errors. Varsho shuld not be swinging for the fences. Either double steal or bunt the ball into play, make a defense they just made two errors make a play. I don't usually advise sacrificing in the 1st inning but that was a situation to surprise people.

You all saw the Orioles sacrifice in the top of the 10th yesterday. Probably not advised for the road team to do it but sometimes you have to surprise. The Blue Jays are predictable with RISP so the opponents pitches and defends predictably.
