Quantumania is easily the worst film in the MCU. Just a complete mess of a story set against a lot of mediocre CGI. The appeal of Ant Man has been silly heist movies with fun uses of shrinking but this has universe saving stakes and is set in a strange environment where the scale and relativity of the size changes feels awkward. The story is basically just a set up for Kang but it’s done with a lot of exposition and all we learn about his power and motivation is he has future technology and likes to conquer. They try to expand on the Scott/Cassie father/daughter relationship but it’s really poorly written and feels cheesy and lame. Also is a parallel story about Hope reconnecting with her mother that goes nowhere. Speaking of the Wasp, she barely has anything to do here. Feels like the writers forget about her but realised she was in the title so she’ll randomly show up to help in the fights. This left Michael Douglas’ Hank Pym with nothing to do so he spends the movie making quips about ants. Of course doesn’t help the entire thing was filmed in front of a green screen and all the acting is wooden and dull. Also does not do a good job balancing drama with humour and most of the jokes fall flat. Paul Rudd’s charisma doesn’t come close to saving this. Just a big turd. 3/10

I haven't been able to bring myself to watch it lol.. it's been like OK we could watch Ant Man.. or catch up On Ted Lasso.. ok now Survivor has a new episode.. ok now there is a documentary on paint drying times .. and then after all that, there are still some teams playing hockey I guess..
