Hang on now, Varsho was not a "project" like Gurriel.

He had 4.7 fWAR last season and 2.3 fWAR the season before that. Those were his first two full seasons in MLB.

Gurriel had 6 years in the league and had never gone higher than 1.8 fWAR.
