I think Conroy is the hire here.

Dubas? I think he’s a step below Treliving, so I certainly wouldn’t look at him coming aboard (if he somehow chose here) as any sort of tangible improvement. Dubas had less success than Treliving all while having the benefit of having a #1 overall pick, a more desirable market, and a much better funded operation.

Treliving > Dubas.

All the other rumoured named (Bergevin, Bowman, Nonis) get a whopper sized woof from me. No interest. Actively hope it’s none of those three.

Conroy may or may not be fantastic, but the Flames as a whole have been getting better over the last decade. We’ve gone from an incompetent organization, to a competent one that suffers from misdirection from the top. That’s improvement - and Connie is a part of that. I’d be happy to see him continue to build it here. Also, I’d love to see a Conroy and Iginla led Calgary Flames one day - and this completes 50% of that. So, let’s #%^*ing go Connie!
