I thought they had a way of measuring individual and total strength of era? Elo system or something? It wouldn't surprise me if that year had the highest aggregate score for the Big 4 compared to any other period. I bet you Roger would have traded his Wimby for the gold medal.
in terms of new generation dominance, obviously Carlos' prowess on hard and clay is well documented, but grass happens so infrequently we don't yet have a read on where's he at until late next month. the guy right behind him is Rune and I think it's the same questions for him. I had assumed Sinner would complete the new holy trinity but lately he seems to have stalled out a bit on progression. and the 4th member...who knows, we might not even know his name yet.
