I thought for a moment we were actually coming full circle with Rebecca making amends with Rupert, and even rekindling their romance. I've never been so glad that a show didn't go there.

Have to love the very intentional moment with the Russian owner. You keep pushing, you have to pull!

It was also was nice to see the show tackling toxic parenting along with everything else it has touched on. Parents that are unnecessarily tough on their kids and expect them to be exceptional at their activities, or behave like adults at ages when it's not appropriate, or even shaming their kids for taking their privilege "for granted" because they just want to be a kid, was pretty real and relatable. I like that they didn't vilify his dad for it, but showed that at the end of the day parents are just kids raising kids, and they make mistakes too. But they are capable of owning up to that with some growth and perspective.
