I think the obvious and most likely move for the leafs will be William Nylander. He’s the oldest (except for Tavares who has a NMC) and least productive of the top guys. 1 year left till UFA and will likely command over $9 million so re-sign. They’ll likely target someone younger and more cost-controlled in the trade. Not sure who a good trade partner would be for them but moving Nylander is probably the least risky move they could make.
