I’d take Tavares every day and twice on Sunday’s. These long term contracts kill us. I’d rather not end up with another Lucic situation. I really would rather lose out on the hot FA than be straddled with a long term anchor. No team learns from this stuff. It’s poor management. Cut guys loose instead of being desperate.
