The crazy thing is the course held a pga tour event up until 2002, and it was playing under 6600 then. It really does put into perspective (to me anyway) why they are looking at rolling the ball back. They did on the driver faces. They just didn't foresee what happened with balls, HD cameras/trackman, golf specific fitness, strokes gained analysis, force plate work and the subsequent changes to the swing / strategy.
Even with a rollback people will find a way to get better.
My question is, why change the courses? Just let the pros shoot 30 under on the same course I play.
