The difference was Skinner who just didn't play well at all for the past few games. Essentially the reason that you don't go into the playoffs with a rookie goaltender. They are known to collapse and not be able to play well for long stretches of time.
I actually thought that for the most part the Oilers played well but they couldn't solve Hill and just got caught running around in the second. As soon as the Knights got the lead they did a great job of locking it down and limited most chances to the outside.
Oh well it looks like Sportsnet ratings are going to be awful for the next few rounds relative to if there was a Canadian team playing.
