There’s going to be change, for sure. But I just think any move the Flames make will be with an intent of staying competitive and making the playoffs next year.
I don’t think we will see the Flames trading players where the primary piece(s) coming back will be picks. They may pick up a pick or two but I doubt, very much, we see them trade Lindholm to Buffalo for their first round pick, for example.
Or, if they do, I would think they try to then flip their first, or the one acquired, for an immediate Lindolm replacement.
