As it is, the Flames have to shed about $2M in cap this year. If they traded Lindholm for Nylander, they would have to shed about $4M. So throw Toffoli away for picks. So you remove Lindholm and Toffoli, and add Nylander, and run with Kadri, Backlund, Ruzicka and Zary as your centres.
And miss the playoffs by 20 points.
Just a horrible idea.
