That's why this is a contest still and quite frankly, much closer than you think.

The PHWA decides this award, and they don't play the whatabout game when it comes down to it. It was unanimous a couple years ago when he won and this season was even better.
You can create all the arguments you like and spin whatever stats to do so....its fun and happens all the time among fandom. That group doesnt.
This thing is going to very much be a landslide just based on past history and those who do the voting.
Oh, and getting points on the power play is actually considered a strength, not something to be used against a player.
