You could argue that they are the least complete team that entered the second round of the playoffs.
Bad goaltending, you look at secondary players. Kane outside of being an idiot has 4 points in 11 games and is a minus 4. Absorb that for a second. He's actually hurting the Oilers more then he's helping. Their blueline has done very little to help Skinner who has done little to help themselves.
Can we say that McDavid has been great. Not 5v5, all but 2 of his 7 goals and 12 of his 19 points have been on the pp. 5v5 he's atrocious and a -1.
Lets be clear, the driver on that team isn't McDavid, its Drasiaitl
Bouchard the future of NHL defensemen has 4 goals and 17 points right. But 2 assists, 2 assists are at even strength and he's a deep minus. He can't be trusted 5v5.
The Oilers are an illusion, beneficiaries of the pp.
If the Knights can stay out of the box in the next game, this one is over quick. Because the Oilers don't have the discipline to do the same.
