I don't really have an issue with goal differential being the tie breaker. Probably more a "it's always been this way" thing, but I also feel it makes more sense to use something that reflects the whole season, not just the head-to-head games. That makes more sense in a CL/EL group with only 6 games, but over a full season? I don't mind the status quo.

so that's it for Southampton. Too bad really, I liked them ... hope they can come back up quickly.
