There was an amusing article way back, I can't remember if it was Burke or which GM. But essentially they compared that GMs drafting record against a potato (ie the Potato just drafted off of NHLe) and the Potato won handily.
There are tools out there that can help teams pick late round gems.
Treliving and GMs like him and their drafting teams just seem to ignore them. Their drafting is ####ing horrible.
