Mainstreet also had the NDP leading in Calgary in that same poll, which makes about as much sense as the second season of Twin Peaks. We also need to remember there will be statistical noise. An election that is for all intents and purposes “tied” never quite looks tied in the polls—you will see single digit leads for either party distributed more or less randomly, and it will be tricky to spot a trend or movement until after it has happened. I think this is going to be a very close election.
