Yes, it was either Gio, who had a high cap hit, was on an expiring contract, and was thought by many to be past his prime (there was no end of moaning about the duration of his contract when it was signed), or else it was Kylington, who was a younger, faster, cheaper, team-controllable asset. One of them had to be exposed and was guaranteed to be taken (unless you wanted to part with a 1st in order for them to take anyone else available).
