It shouldn't be acceptable, but it is... Texas has the least restrictive gun control laws in America (i believe).
No one
wants mass shootings, but through their actions (legislators and voters), they have made the
potential for mass shootings possible.
Its time to co-opt the NRA slogan, "guns don't kill people; people kill people". They are right. People kill people: through who they choose to vote for, for what they legislate, for putting politcal ambitions above common sense for donating to causes and PACs that foment this corrosive garbage.
GOP have already put out statements like "mass shootings are the price we pay for the 2nd Amendment"
