As for the “negative” label I always find that funny and usually crap as it is in this case. But in response I would say a. I am far from the only fan that feels the way I do. Check that thread you started a few weeks ago plenty of people said this is the lowest and most disconnected they have felt. B. I would ask what is there to be positive about? We are in the worst situation to be in we have an old core and a mediocre team. We have no path to contend, no hope for the future. It sucks. Throw in zero quality prospects, I know people will say Wolf I don’t trust any goalie we have seen too many studs fail, to be excited about and I just see nothing to be positive about.
I hope the team turns it around by some miracle but right now I just call it as I see it and there is nothing but hopelessness coming out if the Flames organization. I see no reason to pretend otherwise.
Also I do find it funny that if someone disagrees with you that they are “obviously not a fan”

This is purposely obtuse.
The Flames might be the best suited team in the league to enter a rebuild. With 7 players entering their UFA seasons, they could stockpile an unprecedented amount of draft picks and prospects from an organizational perspective. Will it turn out this way? Probably not but if Lindholm and one of or both Backlund and Hanifin want to move on, what choice will the Flames have?
Fair to say the Flames are not at the top of the league regarding their current prospect pipeline but that doesn’t mean Pelletier, Zary,Coronato, Wolf aren’t quality prospects in any system or that there may be others like Piorier or Kuznetzov who turn out to be players.
Lanny’s right, your overly pessimistic view is lame.
