How many "hot coaching candidates" do you really hear about? Most people don't know their own team's coaching staff let alone what coaches are available when coaching positions are open.

Never said that. I was correcting your incorrect and incredibly stupid comment about people not getting jobs after working for Sutter or in Calgary. Never spoke to the "quality" of their coaching or whether I liked them. Was responding to an incredibly inaccurate comment that required correction. What was really stupid was you included a guy that never worked in Calgary and retired from the game after coaching in the NHL for 19 seasons, and a head coach for 11 of them.

For sucking they have managed to find employment after the fact, which is not what you said. I don't care about assistants because their job duties are directed by the head coach and that is where the buck stops. I certainly don't know what "old boys club" you are talking about, but if one did exist Sutter would certainly be a member of it, no? Seems like another attempt to move the goalposts again in a way to justify an inaccurate post.
