I know you're probably only half serious, but he was asked about whether he would want to get into it, and he mentioned that he is committed to the academy next year, but after that, he it sound like he might get into it.
I thought at the time that if the Flames were going to keep Sutter, a situation might arise where Iginla joined as an assistant the following year (Sutter's last year), then took over after when Sutter's contract is up. Now that we are hiring a new coach, we'd be looking at a longer time frame.
If Iginla was interested, I am not sure if rushing him would be a good idea, but from just a fan perspective, who wouldn't want to see that one day.
