It's a good point. Nothing really jumps out as a success story in that scenario for me either. Huska is a bit different I feel. A more normal progression is head coach for the affiliate, then head coach for the NHL team. Huska follows that progression with the NHL assistant coach time in between. And assistant for 3 head coaches. He's more organizationally grown as opposed to an assistant who follows around a head coach from team to team.
