I'm actually finding that season 3 is the weakest of them all, and this episode was probably the low point so far. Still an awesome show but seems to be missing some of the spark that made the first two seasons so amazing. I know that Ted is in crisis and still in love with Michelle, but the show is strongest when it revolves around Ted's optimism and quirkiness, and this season seems much more focused on telling side stories, some of which really aren't that interesting. I do hope they can bring it all back together in the next few episodes and really finish strong - especially if this is the last season as rumoured.
