Kadri, I'm less confident. We overpaid for a career year that was always going to be hard to replicate, and he came back to Earth and his usual 50-60 points season. It's what he is - a solid 2nd line forward, but not a 7x7 guy. Especially in his 30s.

I'd be perfectly fine with his offensive production from last year if he just bothered to play defense. Easily the worst defensive forward on the team last year, something that he was relatively known for too. That was the most baffling thing to me, far more than Huberdeau's offensive production drop. I figured Kadri would do well in a Sutter system on the defensive end, but it was abysmal.
