Thanks Darryl Sutter.

We got to witness a legendary coach in action twice and unsurprisingly he was at the wheel for our 2 best years since the 80s.

He felt like he owed us something, but he's the one who brought his grinding work ethic and tireless hockey obsession to the rink each day.

His commitment to the city, organization and family will be long remembered. He is firmly placed on my flames mt Rushmore and I know I'm not alone.

Very few coaches end on a high note, but even with all the 50 odd things that went against the flames this year, the team still never quit and went down to the end. Hope to see him and Chris around the dome.
