How do you go from Jack Adams to being fired in under a year?
Agree with everything that's been said however.
I hated the "take a s**t" presser and the "what number was he" comments.
Things have changed so much lately it seems. Maybe NHL locker rooms do need to be "safe spaces" to get the most out of players.
It's a sad day. I will always respect and admire Darryl.
Wish he could have completed the "unfinished business".

I think it’s along the lines of what Rhett was saying
He said he saw them earlier in the year, how the team was responding, and said Sutter was pushing too hard. He also said that winning fixes a lot
We know Sutter likes to have a culture where people are generally on edge, in a bit of fear
When they were winning, you likely see him pushing a few buttons, trying to push what he feels are the right buttons at the right time
When they were not winning, like this year, and his response is to push too many buttons, he risks pushing the team away rather than pushing them forward
Not only that, the team outplayed other teams but lost close games on mistakes. No way he was supportive of those players when they messed up.
It’s a negative feedback loop
That’s how you could go from Jack Adams to fired
