Loved Darryl in 2004. However, there's clearly been a transition to more skilled and faster hockey. You can't win with a dogmatic system of hard work that's totally reliant on no one making a mistake.
Obviously goaltending was an issue, but many of the goals that Markstrom let in were the result of really good chances against us too. Expecting Markstrom to bail out odd man rushes created by the fact that the d-men can't play their game, and let a puck totally by them, isn't fair either.
