Liberals basically said "Trust us we know what's best for you? And we don't intend to go after you...but we leave the door open to do so"

If people would be scared of this bill being used for nefarious reasons by a future opposing government in the future, they should be scared of this being used by the current government.

Yet apathy reigns on.
And I suspect if the any government uses this to slant coverage to whatever direction - people would annoyed. But like on TV and radio - it will probably just give show a bunch of lame Canadian YouTube videos or Netflix shows and generate the odd good ones.
