However, the reality is:
- Andersson doesn't fit opposite Zadorov.
- Forcing Weegar or Tanev to play their off-side just to accomodate Andersson isn't really a great plan going forward
- Weegar is under contract for virtually the next decade
- Tanev is irreplaceable. Even if he ages out, you're looking for another Tanev, and Andersson is not that.
- Andersson may fit opposite Hanifin, but Hanifin becomes a liability the higher the stakes get.
- Kylington - Andersson may be a decent pair, but didn't have a great track record back when they were actually a pair
- Andersson has a ton of positive trade value, probably even more than the return I suggested above, but I'm no GM. It's nice to trade from a position of strength instead of always being the team losing trades because you forced players to request them or drove their careers into the ground by playing them through injuries.

Simple trade Zadorov and find someone to play with Andersson. No way the Flames move on from Andersson as he is the core on our backend. Lets just hope he stays off scooters for a few years.
