Why is anyone shocked they aren’t going to rebuild? At best it will be a re-tool or they will see a whole bunch of UFAs leave next offseason and then rebuild once they are forced to. I don’t think we see all of Lindholm, Backlund, Toffoli, Hanifin, Zadarov, and Tanev back next season but a mix of them will be traded for some similar players in hockey trades.
