I thought Maloney did great. I am glad there is no longer the narrative (true or not) that Sutter was supported by ownership but maybe/maybe not the GM and you had this weird power structure/hierarchy. The answer really is hire a competent GM who has a vision for the team, hires a coach that fits that vision, and move forward.
Personally I WOULDN'T mind having Treliving back as GM although I can't see it as possible. Yes, people would joke (and rightfully so) about the dysfunction of this offseason but I thought he was great at contract negotiation. Just felt like he never really had that connection with his HC.
