How is this different than how previous CanCon rules applied to other forms of media?

The right to chose what Canadians consume and who its coming from. The language used in the bill far from eliminates the governments ability to do this.
I guess I’m still not understanding which rights we previously had that you’re saying are now being affected, we’ve never had the right to post anything we want to on the internet without consequences.
