Now a Hockey Hall of Fame inductee, Iginla is back in his old stomping grounds this weekend for a promotional appearance — the Dr. Oetker Giuseppe Practice with a Pro event at Chestermere Arena. The legendary sharpshooter will lace ’em up Saturday with the Bow Valley Flames U-15 team, a reward for their many good deeds throughout the season, and will stick around afterward for a pizza party with the entire community. The celebration will run from 11:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.
