It's saying something when guys don't have anything (even Cali Panthers) but emotional appeals about the team leaving and begging to look at the "big picture". Sorry some of you don't like criticisms of the deal. If you want a feel good only thread, go start that. Instead others will continue to think critically about the situation and not just ask Murray Edwards to go gentle.
There has been almost no political will to get this arena deal done WITH a major anchor tenant.

Why would that change if the Flames left? The argument would become “we don’t even have a hockey team, we can go to Edmonton or Vancouver for the weekend if we really want to see a show.”
