It had a tongue in cheek vibe, or at least I read it as such. Perhaps I'm guilty of perceiving it that way because I tend to poke the bear in similar situations. You having Oil in your name is merely a coincidence.
I've noticed far more vitriol from fellow Flames than any Oiler fans trolling which isn't all that shocking. We're all an emotional bunch due to the past year. Couple that with the sheer denial of the biggest rival having their best chance at a deep run, superstar players leaving for greener pastures, and in the case of Tkachuk, having more success during the playoffs...it just leads to a more dire forum overall.
