I am always surprised how many people slag on Tkachuk for his past playoff performances. For a player his age, he was at the very least, pretty good. When he did disappear, he was either playing with a broken hand or half of the team also disappeared. But still, considering his age and the way he plays, there was no reason to think he wouldn't blossom into a playoff performer.
