For myself, I find myself preferring Grant Gustin's take on the character. It seems more...authentic. Flash is supposed to be one of the smartest men in the world, and I could never not see Miller's take as anything but an awkward idiot. If I had nothing to compare Miller's Flash TO, that could work. But with such a great example of what a Flash SHOULD be right there, it really puts into question Miller's.
I've watched the trailer for this movie, and it looks like it still continues...with a character who's supposed to be really smart stupidly bumbling his way through the whole thing.
The real life antics don't bother me either, that's for the courts to decide.
